[CHOOSE GRINDER? CLICK FOR THE COMPARISON]

Timemore has hit the nail on the head here. A cost efficient hand grinder with the performance of something you’d expect to pay significantly more for. If you're buying for a barista or someone who enjoys something a little more creative at home, this is perfect.

Say goodbye to purchasing pre ground coffee beans, something everyone looks forward to. The Timemore Chestnut is a lightweight, reliable and consistent hand grinder. Weighing in at 430g makes it the perfect addition for little trips away.

This hand grinder has stainless steel burrs which means it can be consistent across all grind size adjustments unlike other grinders with a similar promise. If you’re grinding for an espresso, aeropress, filter or even french press, it’s got you covered. I have one of these at home and personally I love it, it's also incredibly quick for such a small device. You can never go wrong with something like this.

Timemore is known for its reliability. Grind quality is unbeatable, with stainless steel burrs you can adjust your grind setting to get a uniform result every time. The C2 is a brilliant new addition to Timemore’s line of hand coffee grinders. With the same sharp steel burrs, the same spring mechanism that locks the inner burr into position, and two ball bearings that hold the grind shaft in place, you’re not losing even a little bit of grind quality. And the updated handle connection gives this grinder an exceptionally precise grind and a smooth turning handle.

    Good design, good quality

This is a well designed product. Perfect for grinding beans for a single cup of coffee and very easy to empty the ground coffee
It took a little while to understand how it worked but I was over-thinking it.

My coffeeholic friend said this is the cheapest hand grinder that does the job right

I do enjoy coffee, but I always used coffee machines to make coffee. A coffeeholic friend of mine introduced me to the world of manual coffee making, and the impact of grinder. I used the normal cheap electric coffee grinders, or an old manual grinder from another friend. But my coffeeholic friend said this is the cheapest that produces acceptable results, obviously you can get a better one, but don't go bellow this.Even as a newbie to tasting I could totally tell the clarity of my coffee after using this grinder versus before, rather mind blowing how much grind has impact on the output coffee taste and texture!

Cross Threading could be an issue

Works well and produces a nice consistent grind. The only thing I don't like is the fine threaded connection between the grinder and the receptacle that is just waiting to be cross threaded.

    Excellent build quality

Rock solid with bearings on the rotating shaft. It grinds a very nice mono-dispersed coffee grain size. Settings are fairly precise, easy to adjust and don't slip. If they could make one improvement it would be finer detents in the grain size adjustments at the bottom.

Timemore Chestnut C2 + Aeropress = Great camp coffee

What do you get when you group this grinder with an Aeropress, and a scale while car camping in Glacier NP? Excellent camp coffee! Fire up your JetBoil, weigh, and then grind your coffee while the water heats. Your coffee grounds will be waiting in the Aeropress by the time the water starts to boil. It packs small (it comes with its own travel bag) and is easy to clean with the included brush. Enjoy!
